Class...
I was born in Oswego, New York July 27, 1947. After my family moved around a bit, we settled in Mountain Lakes, where I stayed until graduation in 1965. I graduated with a B.A. in Politics from Ohio Stated University in 1969.
I wrestled at OSU for 2 years and had the good fortune of playing tournament level handball as an undergraduate and graduated student at OSU. I joined a fraternity there and kept a life long friend. After finishing college in 1969, I spent two years in the Army during the Vietnam War, but was not sent overseas. In 1973, I completed a Master's Degree in Education at Ohio State, where I met my wife, Debbie. We were married on July 27, 1974, (my birthday), and have been together 31 years.
After our wedding, I entered into a Ph.D. program at Arizona State University and completed this degree in 1978, meanwhile teaching high school history and economics in Mesa, Az.
In 1985, I resigned my teaching post and entered the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry, where I received a D.D.S. in 1989. Our children, Aimee, 23, and Jaime. 18, grew up thinking their mom was a widow with my academic pursuits. After graduation, I practiced dentistry in Va. for seven years and then moved near Salt Lake City, Utah. My faith (Mormon), family and practice encompass much of my life, but I do spend time performing as a classical guitarist. I also have begun to trade the financials online as a hedge on my retirement portfolio.
All in all, I can say life has been fair and I am blessed with a wonderful companion and good kids. Debbie and I have been raising a grandchild, Nicholas, age 3 , since his birth. He has been a wonderful addition to our family and he'll be coming to the reunion with Debbie and I.
