40th Reunion Bio of...
After attending Tufts University on an NROTC scholarship, I graduated and was commissioned a Flight Officer in the US Navy. In my Navy career, I was stationed in California, Japan and Hawaii and flew anti-submarine patrols over the North Pacific Ocean. In 1971, I married Sue Abbott, MLHS class of '66.
Leaving the USN in 1977, I got an MBA and began working for Hewlett-Packard Company. In 2002, after a career in finance and accounting, I took early retirement from HP. Since then, I've been doing volunteer work, spending a lot of time with my family, and generally enjoying life in sunny, crazy California - we've got Ahnold as governator and finger tips in our chili! My current challenge in life is to figure out what my next career will be; I'm way too young to really retire.
Since 1979, Sue and I have been living in Mountain View, CA where we've raised two strapping sons of whom we are immensely proud. As of Fall 2005, Tim will be a senior at University of California - San Diego, and Reid will be a freshman at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.
I wish health, happiness and luck to all my MLHS classmates.
