Here goes!

Let's see...... High School, Cedar Crest College, marriage to Vernon (Jake) Jacobs, Southampton College, taught at St. Agnes School, daughters; Karen Dorothy Jacobs, Beth Ellen Jacobs, day care, Assistant teacher at New Suffolk School (a real 3 room red schoolhouse), Pro Shop Starter, etc., at Island's End Golf & CC, and RETIRED: Yipppeee!

We are presently living in Palm Bay, FL which is incredible. We are busy golfing, and honestly, doing not much of anything, which seems to take up the whole day! We summer in Greenport, LI where Jake taught American Studies for 34 years. Our kids are coast to coast: Karen (graduated from Chapel Hill Law) married Lou Monti and they are living in Hingham, MA, with our first grandson, Jake (one year); they are all awaiting the second in late August. Beth (graduated from Guilford College) lives in Portland, OR. She has wanderlust in her heart and has traveled to India for 3 months, Italy, Germany, and basically, all over Europe. She works for the Senior Center of Portland.

I have thought about my life and how wonderful it has been; I have been incredibly lucky. The thing that I think I may be most proud of, aside from my family, was when I taught two terrified sisters, in elementary school, to do a forward roll; then they gained confidence, and did them all the way down the mat in a small gymnastics show!

Who knows what the future holds, but I hope and pray that it is in safety and peace.
