Still here...
I am probably one of the few members of our class who, other than college, has remained in the area - living in Rockaway, Denville, Mountain Lakes, and Denville again for the last 16 years.
For the last eight years I have been the National Accounts Sales Manager of Atlantic Coupon Service here in Denville. After 9 years of commuting to Manhattan, working less than two miles from home is a real treat. I'm positive none of you have heard of our company, but your local supermarket may be sending us your coupons for invoicing to the many manufactures. Hopefully none of you are doing the actual scanning of the coupons for us, as we outsource it to a prison in Kentucky.
My leisure time is spent at our family owned home at the Jersey Shore. Originally built in 1918, time and the elements have taken its toll. Being one of only two remaining original ocean front homes in Lavallette, we decided to renovate rather than rebuild. Construction was originally scheduled for completion on April 1st (maybe the date should have been a hint), but has been delayed. Dealing with FEMA, CAFRA, DEP & NJDEP to just name a few agencies involved now has us aiming for August 1st. As you read this we will be painting the interior & scraping the damn "Anderson" labels off the 39 windows.
