The Big Bio...

Family:

At our 30th reunion we had 3 children in college and had recently started our business…a challenge to say the least! Fortunately for us the children all graduated, have jobs and are in good health.

Joe, our oldest, is 31 and still single. He works for our company in New Jersey. He seems to really enjoy the business, but every once in a while forgets who's the boss!

Julie, 30, is also single and worked for us for a few years. She decided she needed a change and moved to Oregon. She loves the lifestyle there and my guess is that she will end of staying. We miss having her close to home but are glad she's happy.

Jamie, 28, is our youngest. He got married to Alexis last July at Fenway Park in Boston. The wedding was unique and a lot of fun. Of course it was hard for me being a life long Yankee fan! He also works for us in our Connecticut office. He has adjusted very well to the business, which has been a pleasant surprise. He is the most like me so you can understand what I mean by that!

Joan and I have been married for 34 years and really enjoy our time together, especially since the children have moved out. We miss them and enjoy it when they come to visit…short visits!!

Joan did a great job raising the children and keeping our family together. She has always been very supportive of everything I've done and I can't thank her enough.

Work:

J & J Sales is now 11 years old and growing. We have been very fortunate to represent some top companies and wonderful people. This has been an excellent experience for us. We enjoy the challenge and the opportunity to control our own destiny. Having our children involved in the business has been an added bonus. Through my travels I have the opportunity to stay in touch with the following classmates:

Gregg Smith: Still in the witness protection program, living in Phoenix. He hasn't changed at all…great wife Sharon and beautiful daughter Bryna.

Bob Cowin: Living in N.C. with much younger wife Brenda. He still has the biggest legs I've ever seen and continues to play great golf. I still take his money playing cards and golf.

Jack Stoddard: Lives in Connecticut with his wife Patty and we see them quite often. We play golf together and dinner occasionally.

Paul McCann: Annual golf game and July 4th softball game at Briarcliff.

Nick Corvinus: Dinner twice a year and golf with Paul and Jack

I'm hoping our 40th reunion finds everyone both happy with their lives and healthy. I look forward to seeing everyone.
