Time marches on...
Time marches on. I think at the last reunion, I won the award for the youngest child with my pregnant third wife Patty. Well, guess what? We are still married…a record for me. We have a beautiful 10 year old daughter name Megan and a son named Christopher, who is 13. My older kids are out in world with jobs or law school or kids of their own. Yes, I am a Grandpa. Ginny's and my son Scott have one boy aged 3 and twin boys who just turned one year old. She would have been very proud of her grandkids, as I am. I am not sure you all know that Ginny passed away in 1998 after a bout with cancer.
I retired from The Hartford Financial Services Group after 26 years, but continue to work in the Information Technology Security field. I am the Chief Information Security Officer at Webster Financial Services.
I continue to enjoy sports. These days it is mostly through my son Christopher, but I still get around the golf course and can still beat Cianci. Jim and I live fairly close to each other, so we typically go to dinner once or twice a year and play golf whenever we can.
Our family vacations quite often on Cape Cod and I enjoy the fishing in the early mornings off the beaches in Eastham and Wellfleet, but I haven't had a "keeper" in a few years.
My Mom passed away a little over a year ago and we miss her greatly, but my father continues to hang in there. He is 88 and counting. I visit him at his house in Vero Beach, Florida every couple months. My brother Jeff and sisters Barbara and Kathy are all doing well and living in California.
We live on Lake Garda in Farmington, CT. It is not near as big as Mountain Lake, but we have our own beach and can sail and fish. Farmington reminds me of another nice a place to grow up…Mountain Lakes.
